General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. ScopeThese general terms and conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded with the landlord of the holiday apartments. Deviating agreements must be made in writing.

2. Booking and conclusion of contractA booking is considered binding as soon as it has been confirmed in writing by the landlord (by email, letter or similar). With the booking confirmation, a rental contract is concluded between the guest and the landlord.

3. Payment Payment of the rental price is made as agreed in the booking confirmation. As a rule, a deposit of 30% of the total price is due within 7 days of booking confirmation. The remaining amount is due no later than 14 days before arrival.

4. Withdrawal and cancellationThe guest can withdraw from the contract at any time. Cancellation must be made in writing. The following cancellation conditions apply:

Up to 5 days before arrival: free cancellation.

Less than 5 days before arrival: 60% of the rental price.

The landlord will endeavour to rent the holiday apartment to someone else. If this is successful, the cancellation fee will be reduced accordingly.

5. Arrival and departureThe holiday apartment is available to the guest from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Other times require prior agreement.

6. Use of the holiday apartmentThe holiday apartment may only be used by the number of people stated in the booking. The guest undertakes to treat the holiday apartment with care and to report any damage to the landlord immediately.

7. Liability of the guestThe guest is liable for any damage caused to the holiday apartment or its inventory by him, his fellow travelers or guests.

8. Liability of the landlordThe landlord is not liable for the guest's personal belongings. Liability for failures or disruptions that are outside the landlord's sphere of influence (e.g. power outages, burst water pipes) is excluded.

9. Pets and smokingPets are only allowed with prior arrangement. Each unit has a balcony or terrace where smoking is permitted. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment, including vapes, shishas or e-cigarettes. In the event of a violation, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.

10. Data protectionThe guest's personal data will be used exclusively for contract processing and will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

11. Final provisions Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the lessor.
